These are musings/artifacts from the wanderings of a distracted visionary developing his trigger finger. Think of them not as the dictations of a man with it all together, but rather, communications tapped out in half-remembered morse code, from a Jonah in a whale, not sure where he is headed, but assuming there's a destination. Hence, like a Jonah, I send out a nice mix of insights from the inside and cries for help. andrewmwhaley@gmail.com.

Solve problems by writing a note to yourself | 43 Folders

Here’s a little something I found over on 43 Folders. This is an interesting hack to apply the psychological state, imposed by an ubiquitous modern communication tool, to the task of problem solving. I find often that gettting some distance via objectivization of an issue or problem is the very thing needed to solve it. When we impose a serious and purposeful ontological demarcation between us and our situation or issue, it opens fresh opportunities to act on it, and ourself, in as much as we have identified ourselves with it or will be effected by the doing.
